Since 2013 we have registered more than 50 primary cooperatives for the community. We register them with the Department of Trade and Industry in Pretoria and they are funded by the Department of Small Business Development. Thus far we have secured (15) fifteen tractors with farming implements for agricultural projects. Furthermore among other projects we received funding for: sewing machines, cement blocks and brick making machines, spaza shop, furniture making machines, etc. Each primary cooperative received R 350 000 (three hundred and fifty thousand rand). We meet every Friday of the week at Hill Gate Batlokoa Traditional Council offices to assist communities to register cooperatives and to apply funding for them.
